We love all things back to nature and simple living at Lahtle Wood glamping. The glamping site is set up to cater to both those things. All our pods have running water, but we do not have any electricity in and around the pods, so we can reduce our usage of screens, and also live a little slower by using other means.

It’s always hard to leave your dogs at home when you go away on holiday. You might find yourself saying, “Ooh, the dogs would love this walk, there’s a great swim spot for them too”. Well, what if we told you, you could enjoy both - a little getaway in a cosy pod and time with your dogs too. At Lahtle Wood, we are lucky to be situated between the North York Moors and the East Coast, a fantastic spot for great walks with beautiful scenery and, most importantly, plenty of amazing dog-friendly sandy beaches you can enjoy all year around all within an hour’s drive.

Glamping essentially means ‘Glamourous Camping’! At Lahtle Wood Glamping, you swap tents for wooden pods or cabins, swap shared bathrooms for your own private bathroom and kitchens, swap bringing the whole kitchen sink for just you and your food, everything is provided for you.

The lucky winner will be given the option of staying in either our Owl or Woodpecker pods for two nights. You will receive our celebration bundle and a firepit pack so you can enjoy an evening of toasting marshmallows and unwinding by the campfire.

This year has seen the creation of Lahtle Grub. Our new pizza shack! It has been an idea for a while now and when the pod became available to use, I jumped on the chance to finally make my pizza shack.

Our pizza dough is made with sour dough which just adds to the flavour and on our menu you will see a couple of the classics, but you will also see a couple more exotic flavours and maybe something for the sweet tooth…
