Everything Included in Your Stay at Lahtle Wood Glamping
We love all things back to nature and simple living at Lahtle Wood glamping. The glamping site is set up to cater to both those things. Being out and surrounded by nature but stripping back the home comforts a little bit. All our pods have running water, but we do not have any electricity in and around the pods, so we can reduce our usage of screens, and also live a little slower by using other means.
All our pod areas include: Cosy pod, Alfresco kitchen, Bathroom and outdoor seating area with a BBQ. If you’re staying in a two-person pod, you will also have a wood-fired hot tub.
All our pods include fully made beds, hot water bottles and a lantern.
If you’re staying in either the Owl or Woodpecker (two-person pods), you will also have an indoor seating area.
Your hot tub comes with all the wood you should need to light it. For ease and more relaxation, you can pay an extra £20 to have your hot tub pre-heated for your arrival.

Your ‘Scrub shack’ bathroom is kitted out with the usual Sink, Loo and Shower however, your water is heated by you, with your water boiler.
Your water boiler sits on the outside of your bathroom and heats both your kitchen sink and your shower. You will find instructions in your pod on how to light your burner, but it roughly takes 20-30 minutes to heat your shower, so the perfect amount of time to enjoy your morning coffee before your shower.
Each pod has an outdoor seating area with either a picnic bench or table and chairs (cable reels) with a parasol and BBQ/firepit.
Your ‘Yorkshire grill’ acts as both your BBQ and firepit, you can remove the grill to have a large cosy firepit after eating.
As the glamping site is ‘off grid’, we have no lights in the pods, but we do provide a lantern; you also have fairy lights in your kitchen and bathroom area.
Every morning, your BBQ and water burner will be cleaned for you to use again!
You will find a shared BBQ hut in each area, Pheasant, Peewit, Owl and Woodpecker. These can be used as a cosy firepit area on an evening to or share a big cook up.
Lahtle Grub is our on-site takeaway, open on a Friday night for Pizzas and Sunday morning for crepes, coffee and butties.
Our play area is open to all with adult and child-friendly swings, climbing frames, sand pit and wendy house.
