This is a mega, rustic, off grid site with loads of character. The pods are cosy and warm and well made. The scrub shack which features a wood fired shower is amazing and a great idea. The whole site was secure and laid out in a private way. Sarah the owner was wonderfully helpful and friendly and left us to it. If you’re looking for a back to basics (no electricity) getaway, look no further than Lahtle Wood.

The owners are so welcoming and friendly The accommodation is high class proper beds and duck down duvets very cosy We absolutely loved the wood fired shower what a great idea. The outdoor area was great too with a lovely kitchen area and private patio. It was so lovely to sit by the fire pit and watch our son play with the other children that were staying there too. There were able to run about into the woods we knew that there were safe. The wheelbarrow idea is brilliant, loading your belongings in and pushing it to your pod. Nice to leave your car in a secure car park and not have them parked up near your pod. We will definitely be back without a doubt. Thank you so much for welcoming us and we will see you soon.

Amazing from start to finish, Sarah greeted us and showed us to our pod and David visited to check everything was OK. We had an amazing stay, and the pods are perfect. The cold nights are even enjoyable with the fit pits and the extra thought of the hot water bottles is lovely. If staying in the cooler nights extra night wear and blankets keep you warm. They really have thought of everything these are so far the best pods we stayed in, and the surroundings are ideal for a lovely getaway. Can't wait to return.
