Fantastic, peaceful little hideaway. Really well set up, great facilities and friendly owners who just let you get on with your holiday while still being available if needed. Plenty of bedding and the pods really do warm up at night, though the hot water bottles are a nice touch, too. Many thanks to the whole family for our stay.

We had such a lovely time during our stay and that was even with the weather not being great. We stayed in one of the Pheasant pods. The facilities were amazing and we loved the rustic chic nature of it all. The wood fired shower was amazing! One of the best showers I've had in a long time. It was nice to have our own bathroom in the wooden hut next to our pod especially during these strange times at the moment. It was literally sparkling clean upon arrival as were all our facilities including the pod itself, the beds and the crockery and utensils. We loved that there was the option to BBQ but also having the small gas rings available under a wooden canopy to use as an alternative was great for breakfast time, cups of tea and in case of heavy rain. We were unfortunate to have quite a few heavy showers but we were still able to sit outside under the sturdy parasol without any issue of getting wet. This getaway was an introduction to camping/glamping for 2 members of our group. First thing they said on arrival was "Wow! This is amazing. It’s so much nicer than some of the hotels we've stayed in before". They both had a great time for their first camping/glamping adventure and are keen to go again in the future. Would definitely recommend a visit here for a lovely get away and great value for money.

Our third stay at Lahtle Wood which never disappoints. It’s our time to spend with family and relax. David and Sarah are amazing. The pods and scrub shacks are spotless. Will be back next year.
